Export to JT files

Save Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies to JT files (*.jt) (versions 7.0, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, and 9.5).

Options include the ability to output Brep or facet data, include sketches, work planes, work points, and work axes, select the JT export version, and select the export structure (for Inventor assembly files).

You can also guide creation of JT facet data using levels of detail parameters in a JT configuration file. When you select to use a JT configuration file, Inventor prioritizes between the file and JT File Save As Options dialog box settings:

If a setting... Then this setting is used
Exists in the configuration file and on the dialog box File setting
Exists in the configuration file, but is not available on the dialog box File setting
Exists on the dialog box, but is not available in the file Dialog box setting
Does not exist in the configuration file or on the dialog box Default setting

You can view a sample JT configuration file included with Inventor:

Export to CATIA V5 files

Save Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies to CATIA V5 files (versions R10 - V5-6R2012).

These types of CATIA V5 files can be exported:

Options include the ability to include sketches and select the CATIA V5 export version.

Export to Pro/ENGINEER files

Save Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies to Pro/ENGINEER files.
