Changing Elevation Reporting

A spot elevation can report elevations relative to project origin, shared origin, or a specified level.

  1. Place a spot elevation, and then select it.
  2. On the Properties palette, click (Edit Type).
  3. Under Text, specify a value for Elevation Origin. For more information about the values, see Spot Elevation Type Properties.
  4. If you selected Relative, click OK and, on the Properties palette, select the value for Relative Base.
