InfraWorks uses predefined road and coverage area styles to display data sourced from AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will need to download updated files and use them to replace the existing style rules that are installed with InfraWorks in order to visualize data sourced from AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will also need to update one style, the Null Road style. You can edit these styles or define new ones to display objects using styles of your choice.
The basic set of predefined styles rules are in the all.rules.json file, while the pre-defined Road style are in the Null Road.ACItem. The Null Road style is used to visualize the centerline of a design road created from the alignment and profile data in an AutoCAD corridor. Null Road style allows centerline geometry (alignment) to display in InfraWorks without being hidden by coverage styles used in the translation which are mapped to other link styles.
The new rules load and display in the Style Rules panel in the Road and Coverage Areas tabs.
You also can edit these style rules and/or define new rules to display AutoCAD Civil 3D data using styles of your choice. See To define style rules.
