Sign in to Use Communicator

To access online services for Communicator, you must sign in with your Autodesk ID.

Because BIM 360 Team is a single sign-on service, if you sign in from another Autodesk application, you are also signed in to Communicator.

1. On the Revit InfoCenter toolbar, click Sign InSign in to BIM 360 Team. The Autodesk - Sign in dialog displays.
2. Enter your Autodesk ID and password, and click Sign In.
   Note: When you sign in, use the same user ID and password that you use to sign in to BIM 360 Team on the web or mobile, to ensure that you can access your cloud projects.
   If you do not already have an Autodesk ID, work with your Autodesk Software Coordinator to create an Autodesk ID, and associate it with your company's subscription to Collaboration for Revit.

After you successfully sign in to BIM 360 Team, you will be signed in to Communicator. If you sign out of BIM 360 Team, you are also signed out of Communicator. When you search in Communicator, you are searching users within your team hub on BIM 360 Team.

When you sign in to BIM 360 Team, your Revit worksharing username is changed to match your BIM 360 Team ID, so that you see consistent identity across Revit and BIM 360 Team experiences.
