Controls whether new and changed features in product updates are highlighted in the user interface with an orange dot.
Updates to the current major release of the product can include new and changed commands and options. To highlight these changes, orange dots are applied to the affected ribbon buttons, dialog box options, and palettes.
This command is accessible from the Help drop-down menu only for updates. The setting is stored in the SHOWNEWSTATE system variable.
