CheckInterference Method (ActiveX)

Checks for interference between two solids and, if specified, creates a solid from the interference.

Supported platforms: Windows only

Signature

VBA:

RetVal = object.CheckInterference(Object, CreateInterferenceSolid, SolidsInterfere)
object

Type: 3DSolid

The object this method applies to.

Object

Access: input-only

Type: 3DSolid

The object to check against.

CreateInterferenceSolid

Access: input-only

Type: Boolean

  • True: Creates the interference solid.
  • False: Does not create the interference solid.
SolidsInterfere

Access: output-only

Type: Boolean

  • True: The solids do interfere.
  • False: The solids do not interfere.

Return Value (RetVal)

Type: 3DSolid

The resulting object if CreateInterferenceSolid is set to True.

Remarks

No additional remarks.
