To Create a New Block Definition

Use this procedure to create a block definition by copying the selected block reference.

1. In the drawing area, select a block reference you want to copy.
2. Right-click and choose Copy Block Definition and Assign.
3. In the New Block Definition dialog box, enter a name for the new block definition, or accept the default, which is the original name suffixed with an incremental number in parentheses.
4. Click OK.

The new block has been created. You can access the new block definition in the Block Editor.
