You can build, manage, and share location sets.
Locations allow you to organize a project hierarchically, in as many levels as the job requires (such as buildings, wings, floors, and rooms). Locations are organized in a location set that can be shared across BIM 360 services.
In BIM 360 Plan, you can create, edit, or assign location sets.
Assign
- Click profile menu > Project Admin.
- Click Locations

- Click Select a Location Set > and select an existing set to assign to the current project.
Edit
- Click profile menu > Project Admin.
- Click Locations
.
- Click Select a Location Set > and select an existing set.
- Click Duplicate to create a copy of the location set that you can edit.
Create
- Click profile menu > Project Admin.
- Click Locations
.
- Click Select a Location Set > Create a New Set (at the bottom of the list).
- Specify the location name.
- Click Add New Top Level Location.
- Select a location type.
- Enter a name.
