The degrees of rotation are based upon a clockwise rotation of the building. Depending upon a building’s shape, size, and/or distribution of glass, changing the orientation can impact the amount of solar gain and other aspects of weather interacting with the envelope of the building. This then affects the heating and cooling loads.
