Asynchronous item release
You can now release items asynchronously for faster, scalable processing of affected items. Enable Asynchronous item release in your General Settings to release affected items one by one in the background after initiating a workflow transition on a revisioning item (e.g., Change Order).
- Progress tracking: You’ll see real-time release progress on the revisioning item until all items are fully released.
- Workflow completion: The workflow action completes once all affected items are successfully released.
- Retry option: If any affected items fail to release, you can retry the workflow action to complete the process.
Note: Asynchronous item release is not supported when a script triggers a workflow action that moves Change Orders to a Managed State. In this case, the items are released synchronously.
