About Project Snapshots

BIM 360 Field recommends that you keep your project data active and available. Sometimes it’s useful to take a snapshot of the project data. The BIM 360 Field Services team can also create a project snapshot for a customer. The Services team can create an estimate and work order for the needs of a specific project.

  • Project snapshot of issues. Using the reporting feature, you can create a PDF report. The report includes all issues with all custom fields and any referenced photos, documents, or markups.
  • Project snapshot of checklists. Using the BIM 360 Field Reporting feature, you can create a PDF report that includes all checklists with relevant observations and attached photos, documents, or markups.
  • Library download. You can also download all files imported to the project library in their native format.
  • Optional export. You can export a list of issues or checklists to Excel with a limited set of fields available.

Best practice is to save these reports in a file folder with a useful name such as Project snapshot for <your project name> <mo/day/year>. You can then use the Windows zip utility to compress the folder.
