About Application Options
- Click
(Application Options) in the Toolbar.
General | Set language data collection and use; set cloud and surface tile cache locations, and system proxy settings. Click About to verify which version of InfraWorks you are running.
Note: As of 2017, the Autodesk analytics program replaces the Customer Involvement Program (CIP). |
Navigation | You can invert navigation behavior for the move and orbit buttons on your mouse, as well as the arrow keys and w, a ,s ,d keys. |
Model Generation | Control the number of CPU threads allocated to InfraWorks, building rendering, the complexity of the terrain surface, and the generation of a light map. You can also control regeneration settings for road design to reduce model regeneration after making edits to a road.
Note: Setting a higher thread value can affect memory usage, thus hindering performance. Try reducing it again if problems arise. |
Unit Configuration | Specifies the default unit settings for various types of measurement such as Length/Distance, Width/Diameter, Area, and so forth. |
3D Graphics | Control display of backfaces, realistic water styles, shadows, water reflections, 10-bit color channels; set levels for ambient occlusion and anti-aliasing; set Display Detail (LOD, Level of Detail). |
Data Import | Some file formats InfraWorks support both cloud (default) and local data import. Specify import settings for data you bring in from Autodesk Navisworks Manage or Autodesk Navisworks Simulate. |
Point Cloud | Adjust point size and density for point cloud data. |
User Interface | Reset quick access defaults. |
