To convert an intersection to a roundabout

Select an intersection and convert it to a roundabout using the Stack.

Autodesk InfraWorks creates a (crossroads style) Junction Type intersection automatically wherever two component roads intersect. You can convert this default intersection into a roundabout.

1. Select the intersection.
2. Click the Junction Type thumbnail image in the Stack.
3. Click the Roundabout thumbnail image in the drop-down menu. InfraWorks chooses an initial roundabout style based on its analysis of the number of lanes and the density of roads in the surrounding area.

4. You can change the roundabout type in the Stack. Toggle the Standard drop-down menu. Click to choose a different type.

   

5. You can modify roundabout geometry in-canvas or in the Stack.
