The following tools are available during Edit In Place in Fusion.

Design > Sketch > Create

All Create tools for sketches are available in both associative and non-associative Edit In Place, except for the following:

Assembly Context tool availability

When you open an external component in its own tab and activate an Assembly Context, all of the modeling tools in the Design workspace are available to you.

If you use the following tools, Fusion will automatically switch you to the Local Context, where you can use them:

  • Rigid Group
  • Tangent Relationship
  • Drive Joints
  • Component Drag
  • Capture Position
  • Revert Position
  • Ground
