Uninstalling 3ds Max from a Windows OS

You can uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS via the Control Panel. If you wish to uninstall several products within a Suite or a Suite from a Windows OS, it is recommended that you use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

  1. To uninstall 3ds Max and other products, or a Suite from a Windows OS, use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

To uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows 7 OS or Windows 8 OS

To uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS 7:

  1. Left-click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel, select to view the contents by Category if required.
  3. Under the Programs Category, click Uninstall a program.
  4. Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 and click Uninstall/Change.
  5. Follow the uninstallation instructions.

To uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS 8:

  1. Left-click the Windows Start screen All Apps Control Panel Programs.
  2. Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 and click Uninstall/Change.
  3. Follow the uninstallation instructions.
