Revit and Globe Link communicate using APIs to acquire and publish building site and model information; therefore it is not necessary to separately manage Google Earth KML or KMZ (zipped KML) files.
Acquire from Google Earth
The Acquire feature transfers site information from Google Earth into Revit. This is used as the background for building information model layout.
Publish to Google Earth
The Publish feature places Revit building models on the geographically correct site location in Google Earth. This is used for presentation to clients and for coordinating projects.
