After locating in Google Earth where the building model should go, the view extents from Google Earth need to be acquired into Revit. To acquire the view extents, in Revit, click Add-Ins tabGlobe Link panelAcquirement.
When the acquire task starts, the Google Earth camera's heading and tilt are set to 0, the image is captured and sent to Revit.
If the camera height exceeds 16,400 feet (5000 meters) or the camera is tilted down too much, a warning message displays recommending the view settings in Google Earth be adjusted.
When acquiring completes, the view extents import into Revit, and the Revit building model location points changes to match the Google Earth location.
