Export to EDF

Export an Alias file to ICEM EDF format

1. Choose File > Export > Active As or File > Save As .
2. Select EDF as the file format.
3. Under EDF Options, choose export options.
   • Export Groups as Molecules – Exports Alias groups as ICEM molecules.
   • Logfile Output – Creates a log file of the results in the same folder as the Alias file. The file has the name [filename].edf.alias2edf.
   • Order Parts by – Sorts Alias layers exported to ICEM parts by Layer Position, Layer Number, or Alphabetically.
4. Click Save.
5. Select a location and enter a file name in the file browser.
6. Click Save.
