How to save mesh objects

Save selected meshes in an STL file

1. Select one or more mesh objects.
2. Choose File > Export > Rapid Prototype .
3. Click Accept.

   The Export STL browser is displayed.

4. Choose a name for the file and click Save. Only the selected meshes are saved.

Save meshes in a wire file

Select File > Save from the menu as usual.

Note:

Meshes saved in wire files in Alias 11.0 cannot be retrieved in earlier versions of Alias, since those versions do not provide mesh support.

Save meshes in OBJ format

1. Select File > Save As.
2. Choose OBJ from the File Formats lister.
