Import a part into Autodesk Simulation DFM to investigate manufacturing the part using injection molding techniques.
- Click
Application menu > Open. The Open File dialog appears - Browse to where the model is stored.
- Click Open.
The part is displayed and analysed with a summary of the results appearing in the widget.
Note:
- Autodesk Simulation DFM does not support multi-bodies. If the model does contains multi-bodies, only the first body will be displayed.
- Each time a part is imported, it opens in its own window. To compare design modifications to the part, import both variations and view the results using the options.
