Best Practices for using Inventor on Citrix

• Rendering uses a lot of system resources and works best when run on non-Citrix computers.
• Upgrading project files consumes a lot of memory and can have an adverse effect on other users working on the same server. Upgrade project files on non-Citrix computers before opening these files in a Citrix environment.
• Close other programs accessed via Citrix.
• Set the following in Application Options:
  • Turn off the View Cube
  • Turn off options for Steering Wheel Text Visibility
• In general, the following can affect performance:
  • Complex geometry
  • Multiple parametric relationships
  • Multiple constraints
