Add marking symbols in GOST drawings

  1. On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabSymbols panelMarking Symbol. A plus (+) sign and a box appear beside the cursor.
  2. In the graphic window, click the location on the drawing where you want to add the symbol. The location you select changes color.
  3. Move the cursor to a different location. A leader line extends from the target to the cursor.
  4. Click to set a point.
  5. In the Content and Technique section, click the down-arrows beside each field to select the appropriate marking contents. The Leader-based Text field is automatically updated with the proper annotations.
  6. In the edit field in the Leader-based Text section, type additional text to appear on the leader line.
  7. In the edit field in the Tech Requirements section, add the technical requirements text.
  8. Click OK to add the symbol to the drawing.

Edit Marking Symbol

  1. In the browser, expand the Sketched Symbols node to display a list of symbols.
  2. Right-click the Marking symbol you want to edit, and select Edit Marking Symbol.
Note: In drawing double-click the symbol to launch the dialog box, or by right-click to display a context menu and select the edit option.

Delete Marking Symbol

  1. In the browser, expand the Sketched Symbols node to display a list of symbols.
  2. Right-click the Marking symbol you want to edit, and select Delete.
Note: In drawing by click the symbol to highlight it, and press the Delete key on the keyboard.

Cancel action

  1. To cancel an action, right-click at any point to display a context menu.
  2. From the context menu, select Done.
