Markup Properties dialog box

Displays the markup properties such as name of creator, status, and is enabled to write notes to markups.

Access:
 

Click Open. Select a DWF file containing markups. In the Markups browser, right-mouse click a Markup group and select Properties... from the context menu.

Markup Status

Use the drop-down list to select a status of a markup. The default status for new markups is <None>. You can change the status of a markup to Question, For Review, or Closed. Contains information which changes to make to the drawing. There are two ways to view the information: using an attribute or a graphic. Depending on the selected attribute (None, Question, For Review, Done) the appropriate icon appears before markup in the Markups browser.

Note: It is also possible to change the markup when you highlight a markup in the browser, right-click, and select Markup Status. The same four markup options are available.

<None>

Indicates that the markup does not have an assigned status. None is the default status for new markups.

Question

When you open and view a markup, you can change the status to Question to indicate that you need additional information about the markup.

For Review

When you implement a markup, you can change the status to For Review. The markup creator can review the changes to the drawing sheet and the status of the markup.

Done

Indicates an individual markup that has an assigned status of Done. When a markup is implemented and reviewed, you can change the status to Done.

List

Table lists the properties and values of selected markup. You cannot edit this table, it is for informational purposes only.

Markup History

Displays history of markup changes. You cannot edit this area, it is for informational purposes only.

Markup Notes

Enter the text of the note for a markup.

OK

Activates when you either change the markup status or when you add notes.
