Place Core and Cavity

Place an existing core and cavity

1. In the Mold Layout tab, click Place Core and Cavity.
2. In the Place Core and Cavity dialog box, enter a Product Name.
3. Click the button next to Core File.
4. In the Place Component dialog box, locate and open a core file.
5. Click the button next to Cavity File.
6. In the Place Component dialog box, locate and open a cavity file.
7. To edit the assembly immediately after importing the core and cavity, select the checkbox next to Activate Assembly Edit Immediately.
8. Click OK.

Delete an imported core and cavity

1. In the Mold Design browser, right-click the Core Cavity node.
2. On the context menu, click Delete.
