Add unidentified surface texture symbols in GOST drawings

  1. On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tab Symbols panel Unidentified Surface Texture .
  2. In the Standard section, select the appropriate GOST symbol standard. GOST 2.309-2002 is the default. Depending on the standard you select, the Requirement section changes. If you choose the GOST 2.309-1973 standard, new fields are added and some fields are moved to a different location.
  3. 3. In the Symbol section, you can:
    • On the left side, choose one of the basic surface texture symbols. Treatment Unspecified is the default symbol.
    • On the right side, choose one or more symbols to add to the basic symbol.
  4. In the Requirement section, you can add the following:
    • Enabled when you select the Removal of Material Required symbol.
    • Surface Texture Value - Click the plus sign to add up to four fields. Click the minus sign to remove fields.
    • Texture Direction - Disabled when you select the Removal of Material Prohibited symbol.
    • Available only if you choose the GOST 2.309-1973 standard.
  5. Click OK.

Cancel action before displaying the dialog box

  1. To cancel, right-click at any point to display a context menu.
  2. From the context menu, select Done. The leader lines are removed, the part is no longer highlighted in the drawing, and Unidentified Surface Texture Symbol is no longer highlighted in the Annotate (ESKD) tab.
