Provides options to control the shrinkwrap output.
To help protect intellectual property, use the hole and geometry removal tools.

In the Shrinkwrap Assemblies dialog box, select a file and then click Options. |
Style | |
Single solid body merging out seams between planar faces
Produces a single solid body part without seams between planar faces. When you merge seams between faces, the face assumes a single color. |
|
Solid body keep seams between planar faces
Produces a single solid body part with seams retained between planar faces. |
|
Maintain each solid as a solid body
Creates separate solid bodies in the Shrinkwrap part that correspond to every individual part in the source assembly. For example, an assembly with five parts creates a part with five solid bodies. |
|
Single composite feature
Produces a single surface composite feature. Retains colors and seams of the original components. Caches and retains the mass properties of the original assembly. Selected by default. Creates the smallest file on disk. |
|
Remove Internal Components |
Includes only external components in the shrinkwrap output. Selected by default. |
Patch all holes |
Removes all holes that do not cross surface boundaries, regardless of whether the holes are round. Selected by default. |
Include visible work geometry |
Removes geometry that is not visible. Selected by default. |
Create Substitute Level of Detail using Shrinkwrap |
Creates a level of detail representation to substitute for the assembly. Selected by default |
Create independent bodies on failed Boolean |
Creates a multi-body part when a Boolean operation fails on one of the single solid body style options. |
Source Representations |
Specifies the source to use for the shrinkwrap part. |
Level of Detail: |
Master Uses the master level of detail. It includes all components in the assembly in the shrinkwrap part. Last Active Uses the level of detail that was last activated in the assembly. Any components suppressed in that level of detail are not included in the shrinkwrap part. |
View Representation: |
Master Uses the master view representation. All components are visible in the master view representation: therefore, all components are included in the shrinkwrap part. Last Active Uses the view representation that was last activated in the assembly. Any components that are not visible in that view representation are not included in the shrinkwrap part. |
