Imported Harness Data

Lists all harness data included in the imported file or only the imported data with issues. It also enables you to get descriptions and solutions on any issues, and to correct errors and add additional information to the imported data.

Access:

Ribbon: Cable and Harness tab Manage panel Import Harness Data , locate and select the appropriate import file(s), and then click OK.

Sets the imported harness data to include in the list. Click Filter, and then click the appropriate filter from the list.

Harness Data

Contains the imported harness data organized into folders. Expand the folder(s) to view the harness data and any issues. Right-click any individual item for additional options. The context menu varies depending on what is selected.

Note: Virtual part information is available only when .xml import files are used.

Electrical Parts

Contains information about electrical parts including issues, pins, and any virtual parts associated with the electrical part. The following options are available through the context menu.

Splices

Contains information about splices including issues, pins, and any virtual part associated with the splice. The following options are available through the context menu.

Wires

Contains information about wires including issues, connectivity, and any virtual parts associated with the wire. The following options are available through the context menu.

Cables

Contains information about cables including issues, cable ID's, cable definitions, conductor ID's, cable wire connectivity, and any virtual parts associated with the cable wires or cable. The following options are available through the context menu.
