Lists all harness data included in the imported file or only the imported data with issues. It also enables you to get descriptions and solutions on any issues, and to correct errors and add additional information to the imported data.

Sets the imported harness data to include in the list. Click Filter, and then click the appropriate filter from the list.

Harness Data
|
Contains the imported harness data organized into folders. Expand the folder(s) to view the harness data and any issues. Right-click any individual item for additional options. The context menu varies depending on what is selected.
Note: Virtual part information is available only when .xml import files are used.

Electrical Parts
Contains information about electrical parts including issues, pins, and any virtual parts associated with the electrical part. The following options are available through the context menu.
- Issue Description for any item with an error condition, describes the cause of the issue and how to correct it.
- Assign to an existing Electrical Part displays the Select Electrical Part dialog box to assign the imported RefDes to an electrical part in the assembly. Only electrical parts that do not have a RefDes assigned to them are available.
- Choose from existing Electrical Parts displays the Select Electrical Part dialog box to assign the RefDes of an existing electrical part to the imported electrical part.
- Rename Pin on Electrical Part displays the Select Pin dialog box to assign the name of the selected pin to the imported pin.
Splices
Contains information about splices including issues, pins, and any virtual part associated with the splice. The following options are available through the context menu.
- Issue Description describes the cause of the issue and how to correct it.
- Assign to an existing Splice displays the Select Splice dialog box to assign the imported RefDes to an electrical part in the assembly. Only electrical parts that do not have a RefDes assigned to them are available.
- Choose from existing Splice displays the Select Splice dialog box to assign the RefDes of an existing electrical part to the imported electrical part.
Wires
Contains information about wires including issues, connectivity, and any virtual parts associated with the wire. The following options are available through the context menu.
- Issue Description describes the cause of the issue and how to correct it.
- Rename Imported Wire ID activates the edit box at the wire's browser node for renaming. The Wire ID must be unique.
- Add to Cable & Harness Library displays the Cable and Harness Library dialog box to add the imported wire definition to the cable and harness library.
- Choose from Cable & Harness Library displays the Cable & Harness Library dialog box to choose a wire definition from the Cable and Harness Library to replace the imported wire.
Cables
Contains information about cables including issues, cable ID's, cable definitions, conductor ID's, cable wire connectivity, and any virtual parts associated with the cable wires or cable. The following options are available through the context menu.
- Issue Description describes the cause of the issue and how to correct it.
- Rename Import Cable ID activates the edit box at the cable's browser node for renaming. The Cable ID must be unique.
- Add to Cable & Harness Library displays the Cable and Harness Library dialog box to add the imported cable definition to the Cable and Harness Library.
- Choose from Cable and Harness Library displays the Cable and Harness Library dialog box to choose a cable wire definition from the Cable and Harness Library to replace the imported cable wire.
- Choose Conductor from Import Cable displays the Select Conductor dialog box to choose a different conductor ID for the import cable wire.
- Rename Imported Cable Wire activates the appropriate edit box in the browser for renaming.
