Eco Materials Adviser

Eco Materials Adviser opens a panel containing a toolbar with commands, and quick links to:
- Assign Materials
- Search for Materials
- Browse for Materials
- Analyze Materials (View dashboards)
The following commands are available on the toolbar:
Home Returns to the Eco Materials Adviser Homepage with quick links to commands.
View and Edit Assignments Displays the list of parts contained in your active Autodesk Inventor document. To assign a new material to a part, select one or more parts by checking the boxes, and then browse or search for a material.
Browse for Materials Opens the list of materials in your Granta Design database. Click to expand and show the category. Click to select the material to:
- Assign the material to selected parts
- View the datasheet for the material
- Add the material to the favorites list
- Show applicable processes that can be used with the material
Search for Materials Allows you to search the Granta Design database for materials by name, cost, physical or environmental properties, and other search criteria.
Favorites Displays a list of your favorite materials.
View Dashboards Displays environmental and cost indicators that measure the eco impact of your design in areas such as:
- Energy usage
- CO2 footprint
- Water usage
- Estimated raw material cost
- European Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
- Food Contact
- End of Life
Reports Allows you to generate a PDF report of your results.
Settings Allows you to set your preferred currency and units, and view your database connection settings.
