Specific heat (Cp)

Displays the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a unit mass of the material by one degree Centigrade

The specific heat (Cp) of a material is a measure of the ability of a material to convert heat input to a rise in temperature. It is measured at zero pressure and either a range of temperatures. It can also be an average across the temperature range of 50 C to the maximum processing temperature of the material.
