Automatically remove a component
- In the Mold Assembly tab, click Mold Boolean.
- In the Mold Boolean dialog box, Auto Remove tab, click Interference Analysis. When the analysis is complete, components display in the Interference list.
- In the Interference list, select components and then add them to the Cutting Tools list or the Body list.
- Click Apply or OK.
Manually remove a component
- In the Mold Assembly tab, click Mold Boolean.
- In the Mold Boolean dialog box, Manual Remove tab, click Cutting tool. Then, in the graphics window, select the mold base components.
- Click Body, and then in the graphics window, select the mold base components.
- Click Apply or OK.
Edit a removed component
- In the Mold Design browser under Mold Boolean, right-click a Mold Boolean node, and then click Edit Feature.
- In the Mold Boolean dialog box, modify the settings.
- Click OK.
Add a component
- In the Mold Base tab, click Mold Boolean.
- In the Mold Boolean dialog box, click Add.
- Click Unite Body, and then in the graphics window, select a body.
- Click Join Body, and then in the graphics window, select a body.
- Click Apply or OK. The Unite Body is upgraded to include the Join Body, and the included Join Body is invisible.
Edit an added component
- In the Mold Design browser under Mold Boolean, right-click a Mold Boolean node, and then click Edit Feature.
- In the Mold Boolean dialog box, modify the parameters.
- Click OK.
Delete a Mold Boolean
- In the Mold Design browser, under Mold Boolean, right-click a Mold Boolean node, and then click Delete.
