Populate a single route

  1. Activate the run containing the route to populate.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • In the Model browser, right-click the route and select Populate Route.
    • On the ribbon, click Pipe Run tab Route panel Populate Route .
  3. Optionally, if conduit part files are allowed to be renamed, the Conduit File Names dialog box is displayed. In the Conduit File Names dialog box, enter the new unique file names and click OK.

    The Model browser and graphics update to include generated conduit parts, library fittings, and gaps if appropriate.

  4. Right-click and select Finish Edit.

Populate multiple routes in a single run

  1. Activate the run containing the routes to populate.
  2. On the ribbon, click Pipe Run tab Route panel Populate Route .
  3. In the Populate Routes dialog box, select the appropriate check box:
    • To populate all unpopulated routes, select the check box beside Populate all routes in this run.
    • To populate individual routes, select the check box beside the routes to populate.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Optionally, if conduit part files are allowed to be renamed, the Conduit File Names dialog box is displayed. In the Conduit File Names dialog box, enter the new unique file names and click OK.

    The Model browser and graphics update to include generated conduit parts, library fittings, and gaps if appropriate.

  6. Right-click and select Finish Edit.
