Adding a custom iProperty adds the new values to the Custom tab in the corresponding iProperties dialog box. A bill of materials can contain columns for any
iProperties
defined for the assembly components.
- On the ribbon, click
Assemble tab
Manage panel
Bill of Materials
. The Bill of Materials dialog box is displayed.
- To add or remove BOM columns, click Choose Columns on the toolbar.
- To add a column to the table, in the Customization dialog box, select a column. Drag the column and drop it to the desired position in the BOM table.
- To remove a column from the table, select the column in the table. Drag the column to the Customization dialog box.
- Right-click a custom iProperty column and select Add Custom iProperty (all components) to add the property to all read/write parts in the column.
- To use custom properties from the model file or add custom columns, click New Properties, and select the properties from the Define New Properties dialog box.
- To reorder columns, click a column header, and drag it to the appropriate position.
