Delete part faces or lumps

You can delete individual faces or all faces of a lump . The operation creates a Delete Face feature in the browser and automatically converts the part to a surface.

On the ribbon, click 3D Model tab Surface panel Delete Face . On the Delete Face dialog box, choose one: Click Select individual face to specify one or more faces to delete. If desired, click Heal to attempt to heal gaps between remaining adjacent faces Click Select Lump to delete all faces on the selected lump. If desired, delete a void . Hover the cursor over a void face. Because the void is inside the model, the exterior face is selected first. When the Select Other symbol appears, click the arrow to cycle through selections, then click to select the void. Click OK. Show Me how to use Delete Face with Heal selected
