Move bodies with Rotate

Rotate - allows you to set the angular rotation of an object around a central axis.

  1. On the ribbon, click 3D Model tab Modify panel Move Bodies .
  2. The default method is Free Drag. Choose the drop-down and pick Rotate.
  3. Pick one or more bodies to rotate.
  4. Define the Rotation axis by picking a reference edge or an axis.
  5. Flip the direction if required.
  6. Place your cursor in the Angle value box.
  7. Enter the precise angle for the move.
  8. Alternately, you can perform an unconstrained rotate. Select inside the Angle value box, pick the rotate preview image and drag it with your cursor.
  9. Pick Apply to rotate the bodies and remain in the dialog box or choose OK to rotate the bodies and exit the command.
