Add an empty assembly in assembly

From within an active assembly:

1. On the ribbon, click Assemble tab Productivity panel Add Assembly .

   The Create Assembly dialog box displays.

2. Enter the File name of the new assembly.
3. Optionally, select an alternative folder from the Save in selection list.
4. Click Save to create a new empty assembly within the active assembly.

   Click Cancel to terminate the command and close the dialog box at any time before you click Save.

After you create one or more assemblies using the Add Assembly command, add and constrain components in the new assembly. Add assembly constraints to position the new subassembly within the active assembly.
