You can publish the simulation in Inventor Studio and produce high quality video output containing lighting, shadows, backgrounds, and so on.
- Reenter the Dynamic Simulation environment and run the simulation.
- After running the simulation, do not leave the run environment. In the Animate panel, click Publish to Studio.
- In the Studio environment, set up the following for your simulation:
- Camera position, type, and so on.
- Lighting Style and its associated settings.
- Scene Style and its associated settings.
- Assign different Appearances if desired.
If you are not experienced with Inventor Studio, you can do a Studio tutorial to get familiar with the animation commands it provides. Then, return to this part of the Dynamic Simulation tutorial and output your simulation to Studio.
- Click Animation Timeline to display the timeline.
- Set the timeline slider to the time you want for the animation action to end, such as, 2 seconds.
- In the browser, expand the Animation Favorites folder. Right-click the Simulation Timeline parameter, and click Animate Parameters .
- Set the Action End value to 200 ul.
- Click OK.
- Click Render Animation .
- On the General tab, the styles you set up are the active ones. If they are not, select them from the various lists.
- On the Output tab, click the box next to Preview No Render. This selection produces a test render so you can see if the animation action is what you want. Click OK to render a preview.
- Once you confirm the animation is playing like you want, clear the Preview option and render the simulation final animation with lighting and scene styles. Click OK to render a realistic looking simulation.
Note: You can render images at a few different time positions to ensure the lighting and scene styles look like you expect, then render the animation.
