Refresh standard components using Task Scheduler

  1. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window, click Refresh Standard Components .
  2. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window, right-click, and select Create Task Refresh Standard Components.

    If the current Content Center Access option is set to Vault Server, the Log in to the Vault dialog box displays. Enter your vault user name and password and the server name and database location.

  3. In the Refresh Standard Components dialog box, in Project, specify the active project.
  4. Click Add Files, Add Folder, or Add Project.

    If you select Add Folder, to include subfolders, click the corresponding level of the Recursive column. In the File Name column, you can specify one or more of the Inventor assembly files within the folder to migrate.

    If you select Add Project, all the files within the project you specify are included.

  5. In the Task Properties box, enter a task name and a time-out threshold.
  6. Specify a schedule, or select the Immediately option.
  7. In Log File, leave the checkbox selected for the default, or
    • To overwrite the default, enter an existing file path and name.
    • Click Browse to find and select an existing file.
    • To specify no log file, clear the checkbox.
  8. Click Options. In the Refresh Options dialog box, select one or more of the following criteria to define which parts to refresh.
    • Out-of-date components
    • More current components
    • Components with differing language

    Click OK.

If it is the first task you create during the current session, the Authentication dialog box is displayed. Enter your Windows log in name and password.

The task is displayed in the task list. You can close the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler window. The task runs as scheduled.
