iProperties dialog box - Status tab

Defines the status of the selected part, assembly, drawing, or template file. You can use status iProperties to classify and manage your Autodesk Inventor files, search for files, create reports, and automatically update title blocks and parts lists in drawings and bills of materials in assemblies. Enter the desired information in the boxes.

Access:

In an open Autodesk Inventor file, select iProperties, and then click the Status tab.

From Design Assistant, select an Autodesk Inventor file, right-click, and then select iProperties from the menu. Click the Status tab.

From Windows Explorer, select an Autodesk Inventor file, right-click, and then select iProperties from the menu. Click the Status tab.

Part Number

Displays the Part Number that is set on the Project tab.

Stock Number

Shows the stock number.

Status

Sets the status for the file. You can enter any status classification.

Design State

Sets the release status for the file. Click the arrow, and then select the Design State.

Work in Progress indicates that the design or drawing is still under development.

Pending indicates that the design or drawing is complete, pending approval.

Released indicates that the design or drawing is approved.

Checked By

Names the person who checked the file.

Checked Date

Shows the date that the file was checked. To change the date, click the arrow, and then select a date.

Eng Approved By

Names the person who approved the file for Engineering.

Eng Approved Date

Shows the date that the file was approved in Engineering. To change the date, click the arrow, and then select a date.

Mfg Approved By

Names the person who approved the file for Manufacturing.

Mfg Approved Date

Shows the date that the file was approved for Manufacturing. To change the date, click the arrow, and then select a date.

File Status

Shows the check-out status of the file.

Checked Out by Shows the user name of the person who had the file checked out.

Checked Out Shows the date the file was checked out.

Checkout Workgroup shows the location of the workgroup specified in the project.

Checkout Workspace shows the location of the workspace specified in the project.
