Add and remove assembly feature participants

In an assembly file that contains assembly features.

• To add a participant:
  1. In the assembly browser, right-click an assembly extrude cut or hole feature and select Add Participant. You cannot add participants to a chamfer.
  2. In the assembly browser or graphics window, select a single occurrence of the component to add.

• To remove (delete) a participant:
  1. In the assembly browser, expand an assembly feature to view its participants.
  2. Right-click a participant, and then select Remove Participant.
  Note: Removing the last participant of an assembly feature deletes the assembly feature from the assembly.

To verify a participant was added or removed, expand the selected assembly feature to display the list of participants.
