- Files Requiring Save
-
Lists the referenced files with changes that are not yet saved.
- Save
-
Specifies whether to save the file, all listed files, or a selected set of files.
When you save an assembly, drawing, or assembly presentation, displays the dependent files that were changed without being saved. You can save all changed files or select the files to save.
Note: You save certain Routed Systems files as a unit. These files are listed together in the dialog box to show their relationship. The Yes/No status of these files also switches as a unit.
Some save options have special meaning:
- No (file is read-only) shows if a referenced file is read-only and you are not using the vault.
- No (file is in a library) shows if the referenced file is a library file.
- No (someone else saved the file after you opened it) shows that when the version you are using becomes outdated.
- Yes (file is not checked out of the vault) shows when you are using the vault and change a file without checking it out the vault. The changes are saved, and you have an opportunity to check the file out of the vault later.
- No (file is not checked out of the vault) shows when you are using the vault and change a file without checking it out.
