Secondary Sprue

The Secondary Sprue command is used to create a secondary sprue. You can also use the Secondary Sprue command to edit or delete a secondary sprue.

Create a secondary sprue

1. In the Mold Layout tab, click Secondary Sprue.
2. In the graphics window, select a Sketch Point as the start point of a sprue.
3. In the Create Secondary Sprue dialog box, enter the Profile dimensions of the sprue.
4. In the Option section, specify the Extension Direction and enter the Taper Value.
5. Click Apply or OK.

Edit a secondary sprue

1. In the Mold Design browser, under Runner, right-click a Secondary Sprue node, and then click Edit Feature.
2. In the Create Secondary Sprue dialog box, modify the settings.
3. Click OK.

Delete a secondary sprue

• In the Mold Design browser, under Runner, right-click a Secondary Sprue node, and then click Delete.
