Objectives
- Use the import options to create repair bodies.
- Use the Repair environment diagnostic and repair tools.
- Evaluate feature errors.
- Use Stitch to evaluate and close gaps.
- Use Extend Faces to close gaps.
- Use Intersect Faces to trim overlapping faces.
- Use Combine to join separate solid bodies.
Prerequisites
- Intermediate level of understanding part modeling.
- Activate the Tutorials.ipj project file.
- Document settings set to inches after import.
- Enable the following settings in the Application Options, Sketch tab:
- Autoproject edges for sketch creation and edit
- Autoproject part origin on sketch create
