Represents the predicted time lapse from the beginning of the injection cycle until the mold is filled. For imperfectly designed mold, it represents the predicted time lapse until a short shot occurs.
Note: The combined effects of material compressibility and the switch over point occurs before the cavity is filled. The maximum injection speed cannot be sustained during the entire injection phase. Therefore, the actual filling time is higher than the predicted time.
