In a finished route, sketched route segments can be edited by placing constraints on geometry in the tube and pipe assembly. When existing geometry can assist in defining sketched route points and segments, use the Include Geometry command to introduce reference geometry to the route sketch.
- Activate the route containing the sketched route segment to edit.
- On the ribbon, click
Route tab
Create panel
Include Geometry
.
- Click geometry to include. Valid geometry for selection is any:
- Edge
- Vertex
- Work geometry
- 2D Sketch geometry
- Planar face
- Right-click in the graphics window and select Done.
- To continue editing sketched route segments:
- Use the Constraints command to apply appropriate geometric constraints between route geometry and reference geometry, such as parallel or perpendicular.
- Use the General Dimension command to apply dimension constraints between route geometry and reference geometry, such as angular dimension.
