Edit sketch

Edit sketch not in feature

1. Select the sketch to edit.
2. In the browser, right-click the sketch icon, and select Edit Sketch.
3. Use one or more of the commands on the Sketch tab to edit the sketch.
   • Click Dimension, then click a curve to dimension.
   • Click a constraint command, then click the geometry to constrain.
   • Click a Sketch command, and then add or modify curves as needed.

Edit sketch in feature

1. In the browser, select the feature with the sketch to edit.
2. Right-click, and select Edit Sketch.
3. Use one or more of the commands on the Sketch tab to edit the sketch.
   • Click Dimension , then click a curve to dimension.
   • Click a constraint command, then click the geometry to constrain.
   • Click a Sketch command, and then add or modify curves as needed.
4. Click Update to incorporate changes into the feature.

Note: If edits to a feature sketch (profile) significantly change its shape or size, edit the feature so that it updates correctly. In the browser, select the feature, right-click, and select Edit Feature. Select the profile you modified, enter values to define the feature, and click OK to update the feature.
