Digital Prototypes

Tube and pipe runs are perfect candidates for digital prototypes because you rarely create physical prototypes for them. Instead, contractors usually create the individual routes at the time of equipment installation. If a contractor consumes the space required for the subsequent contractors to position their runs, the result is costly rework.

To avoid these scenarios, first create the 3D equipment and support structures. Then use the routed system commands to place the tube and pipe components in the most efficient position. When you finish, you can produce detailed drawings with an accurate parts list and cut lengths.
