Configure CAD Manager Control utility

Configure settings on all tabs, and then specify where to save the changes.

Communication Center tab

To receive a notice when Live Update maintenance patches are available, enable the Communication Center.

  1. In the CAD Manager Control utility, Communication Center tab, select the Enable Communication Center option.
  2. In the Live Update Configuration box, click the arrow to select an option:
    • Receive Live Updates from Autodesk.
    • Receive Live Updates from Local Network

      In the Local Patch List Location box, click browse to locate the location of your local patch list.

    • Select Disable Live Update.
  3. In the Configure Information Channels box, select Enable Access to Information Channels to access subscription information, product support, and various information channels from Autodesk. Specify which information channels you want to view.
  4. If you do not want to receive a notice when Live Update maintenance patches are available, select Disable Access to Information Channels.

Subscription Center tab

The Subscription Center provides resources such as e-Learning and Web support. To access these resources:

  1. On the CAD Manager Control Utility, click the Subscription Center tab.
  2. Select the checkbox to allow access to the Subscription Center from within the Autodesk product. Clear the checkbox to prohibit access.

Error Reports tab

You can send error reports directly to Autodesk when software closes unexpectedly. Subscription administrators have access to error reports for all users. You can determine who receives notification when reported errors are resolved.

Save changes

After you specify settings on all tabs, you can specify where to save the settings. At the bottom of the dialog box, click the arrow to make your selection.
