Profiling operating parameters can give greater control over the final product. You can model different profiles to ensure an accurate analysis.
There are different profiles that can be incorporated.
- Ram speed or filling profiles are used to vary the screw movement during the filling phase.
- Pressure or packing profiles are used during the packing phase.
Profiles are specified as a series of steps. You can create a mixed profile which has sections of both constant and linear adjustment of the parameter profile.
Constant profiles
Constant profiles specify steps with a constant value. For example, a constant pressure or screw movement.
