These procedures create an example using the sample specifications:
Linear dimensional analysis - Design calculation
Sample Data:
|
- Design tolerance of one element in chain. Tolerance of closing element is known.
- Bearing width B = 18 ( +0 / -0.12 )
- Retaining ring width s = 1.75 h11
- Required assembly clearance v = 0.15 up to 0.35 (Closing)
- Groove distance on shaft A = ? (Resultant)
- Click Calculate to calculate tolerance. A = 20 ( -0.08 / -0.1 )
|
Linear dimensional analysis - Check calculation
Sample Data:
|
- Tolerance of closing element is a result. Good for validity check of designed tolerances.
- Bearing width B = 18 ( +0 / - 0.12 )
- Retaining ring width s = 1.75 h11
- Groove distance on shaft A = - 20 (- 0.08 / - 0.1 )
- Resultant assembly clearance v = ? (Resultant, Closing)
- Click Calculate to calculate tolerance. v = 0.25 ( +0.1 / -0.1 )
