- On the ribbon, click
Design tab
Frame panel
Plate Calculator

- In the Type of Strength Calculation area of the Calculation tab, select a calculation.
- Select the shape of plate and support type.
- Enter input parameters such as Load and Material.
- Click Calculate to calculate the plate. Result values are displayed in the Results area of the Calculation tab.
- Click OK to insert plate into Autodesk Inventor.
Tip: Click the  Results icon to create an HTML report.
